Being good can have a number of meanings depending upon the context in which it’s used. It can mean being competent or a recognized expert in what you do; it can mean being ethical in your practice; and it can mean doing what’s right. For the safety professional, today’s quote reminds us that our organizations are more than money making entities: they strive to bring good products and services to customers because without that, our organizations lose. Our safety processes do the same thing: bring good systems and processes to our customers, without harm.
