Business problems are oft times viewed as an indication to not move forward. However, problems can be viewed as challenges from which to learn, build and guide the business to a better position. Similarly, safety professionals many times regard problems encountered as a sign of failure: something that is proof it can’t be overcome. Failures can provide valuable lessons in moving forward: we just want to be sure those failures don’t result in injuries … or worse.
