Ron, a frequent friend of the show, discusses how the shift to AI is going to create new ways for people to hurt themselves and challenges for safety professionals. Ron brings up other technological shifts that have resulted in safety professionals having to think through risk and prevention. Consideration of cognitive challenges as humans adapt to the new technology and how AI is engineered to work with humans are also raised in our discussion.
