Enthusiasm is starting a new business, starting a new job, spending time with your favorite person, going on a long anticipated trip: there are so many ways to define enthusiasm. As a safety professional, it can become challenging to retain enthusiasm; however, this is a profession that breeds it daily, if not hourly! Nothing is more gratifying than seeing the “lights go on,” achieving success with better, safer, sustainable ways to work. And yes, get your mind out of the early 20th century: these are more efficient and profitable ways to benefit your organization!
