The consumer, or customer if you will, is the reason for success. Just as in business, safety engages when the consumer can have the need or want satisfied with a service that is packaged for easy use. Getting there may be complex, but making it seem easy with feedback from the consumer at key times makes the safety process and delivery that more desirable, resulting in a willingness to take action. As safety professionals, we must listen to our consumers and respond, not compromise our ideals.
