The sense of accomplishment: that’s what seems to drive most people in feeling valued and valuable. When it comes to business, accomplishment is often viewed as productive. Being productive is focusing on achieving what’s of value to achieve a goal. Controlling risk means to ensure people can feel valued and valuable through the realization that the resource they provide (i.e., skills, knowledge, application) is the real reason for business success. That’s safety being productive, not busy.
