Business is based upon risk decision making: make the decision to go into a market unprepared and it can cost the business it’s livelihood. Risks in safety are much the same way. Efforts that align with business direction and reduce risk go far in being constructive towards the success of the business (and the safety process succeeds too). Efforts that don’t align are like trying to get steam into a bucket.
