Businesses, as well as the best safety professionals, know that safety is above all else. Yet, we all work very hard to ensure that safety stands alone, something the organization has to stop work for, and for which we need to stand down for at least one day each and every day. Integrating safety into the process is not the way to go: instead, isolation and dictatorial communication is what works. By the way, this quote is being posted on April 1, which is a day for joking (as bad as this may be) ….. April Fools!
